Easy, a life jacket for children that fits like a t-shirt

Tribord has just developed a lifejacket for children, easy to put on and use, thanks to its unique central buckle. Keeping your children safe will now be child's play.

Putting a lifejacket on a child can quickly become a perilous exercise, as long as the child is moving, there are straps all over the place, or the jacket is not intuitive to fasten. Tribord - the brand of sailing sports at Decathlon - has just released a lifejacket that is easy to use and can be put on just like a T-shirt: the Easy lifejacket.

On the left side, a scratch allows you to hold the strap so you can clip the single central buckle more easily, especially if your child moves.

With its "fitted" shape, there is almost no need for a subcutaneous, even if the vest is equipped with one. Indeed, its short shape on the front means that it doesn't go up under your child's chin, leaving him free to move around. The back is padded for more comfort and at the back of the head there is also a foam that will keep your child's head out of the water. For children under 15 kilos, the subcutaneous is replaced by a panty.

The Easy lifejacket is 100 newtons (ISO12402-4 standard). It has the essential safety elements (whistle and reflective stripes) and its fluo orange and grey colours, as well as its design gives it a modern and pleasant look.

It should be noted that there is no towing (recovery) handle that makes it easy to catch a child who has fallen into the water. The team is working on it and may well integrate this system on a future version. For the moment, we will have to be content with retrieving it by the shoulders.

This vest is available in 3 sizes and sold at the price of 24.99 euros :

- less than 15 kg

- from 15 to 30 kg

- from 30 to 40 kg
