European Powerboat of the Year 2017: the 5 trawlers

Dutchman 52

Discover the series of 5 trawlers selected for the European Powerboat of the Year 2017.

Bavaria E40

The Bavaria E40 is a 12.29 m boat available in either Fly or Sedan (river) versions. Both models are the same, only their roofs change. Its interior layout is really innovative since it is typical of Nordic boats or river cruisers. That is to say that the cockpit is installed at the back, in the center of the boat and in a raised position. The skipper thus benefits from a 360° view on the horizon. The windows that frame the entire wheelhouse make the interior really bright. There are two companionways, one at the front and one at the back to access the cabins. The owner's cabin is either forward with a separate bathroom, or aft when the two cabins are one. Thus, you have the choice between two or three cabins.

DutchCat Twelve

The DutchCat has been designed outside of conventional thinking. As a result, this catamaran is extremely energy efficient and has an ultra contemporary design. The DutchCat is available in two versions: the Comfort version and the Sport version. The hull of the Comfort version provides so little resistance that the catamaran can be driven 100% electrically. Besides the electric version, there are diesel and hybrid versions. Inside, there is a large space of almost 30m2, of which 23m2 can be arranged according to the owner's taste.

Aquanaut Majestic 1300 OC

The Majestic 1300, with a length of 13.15 meters and a width of 4.50 meters, is a comfortable and spacious motor yacht. With its straight bow, we get more interior space. Thus, we find a very large cockpit, while inside, we discover a lounge, a kitchen and two cabins with bathroom. The exterior and interior design is clearly reminiscent of Scandinavian countries.

Linssen Grand Sturdy 350 AC

The Linssen Grand Sturdy 350 Sedan is the smallest model in the Grand Sturdy range, which are particularly complete trawlers with an optimal layout and a particularly good price/performance ratio. Thanks to the special hull shape, the boat has good stability and is also easy to steer in reverse, even in the opposite direction of the propeller rotation, thanks to the combination of the new hull shape, keel, rudder and rudder balance. It is therefore suitable for both the young and the more experienced yachtsman.

Sturier Dutchman 52

The Dutchman 52 has Dutch design elements, but also the characteristics of the Sturiër yard. This semi-custom boat is characterized by a straight bow, a round hull and a large cockpit. The interior is modern but with a certain rustic touch. The DM 52 is available in 2 or 3 cabin versions. The 2-cabin version has a saloon and galley below and offers an outside view through the panoramic hull windows. The vessel is equipped with two 170 hp engines.
