Maxus 24 EVO, a lifting keel for this transportable

The Maxus 24 EVO is available in 4 appendage versions and will be presented for the first time with a lifting sabre keel. A configuration for sailors looking for performance and seafaring behaviour.

The Maxus are above all dinghies, very popular in their country of origin Poland. To adapt it to the French market, the importer Jean-Baptiste Bittard of the Catway company asked the yard to develop specific appendices.

Thus, in addition to the integral dinghy version, a twin keel version, a keelboat version and now a lifting keel version have appeared.

It is in this latter version that visitors to the Grand Pavois in La Rochelle (September 5-11, 2016) will be able to discover the Maxus 24 EVO afloat. Presented in a European preview in Paris at the Nautic 2015, the Maxus 24 Evo has already met with great success in its centerboarder version (12 units delivered by Catway in 7 months in the DI versions), keelboat and twin keel.

Faster and more seaworthy, the lifting keel version is aimed at lovers of high-performance cruisers without sacrificing the possibility of transporting the boat or beaching it (with crutches). The sabre keel rises in a well in the centre of the boat. It does not retract completely into the hull, leaving its bulb exposed.

The fittings and finishes of this yacht do not differ from the model presented at the Paris boat show.

In the table below, you will see the price differences between the versions. The price of the Maxus 24 is calculated from that of the dinghy version. Indeed the boat is designed in this version, the changes of appendices come then in "supplement". We can also see in the table below that the keelboat versions give access to category B sailing.
