Rivamare, the star inspired by the legendary Riva motorboats

Riva Yachts has just presented the Rivamare, a star that is largely inspired by the icons of the past such as the Aquariva Super or the Aquarama. Discover this masterpiece of mahogany and chrome with modern technology.

Riva Yachts presents a new flagship worthy of masterpieces such as the Aquariva Super and even before that, the Aquarama. The Rivamare combines the style and charm of these legendary models with the most advanced technologies. According to Riva, the boat offers a level of comfort and space never before seen on boats of this size. "Rivamare is a leap into the future, forged in the Riva tradition: a powerboat born to be memorable."

Rivamare is an 11.88 m (39 ft) long yacht with a beam of 3.5 m (11.6 ft). Her elegant and sporty lines seduce at first sight, reminding all the history of Riva Yachts. She will be available in all the colors of the range. Alongside the stainless steel anchor and bow, there are the night signal lights. This is just one of the many details borrowed from previous models and a tribute to the Riva tradition.

The Rivamare has a large varnished mahogany foredeck with a central window framed by a stainless steel structure that brings natural light to the interior of the boat. Immediately noticeable is the chrome-plated aluminum box in the center of the foredeck, which supports the horn. Again, this styling element is inherited from the Sarnico shipyard, where the old Rivas were built. This element with its timeless look complemented by a mahogany rod bearing the "Riva" banner recalls the accessories found on the launches of the past and will become the hallmark of the new model.

The helm console is fully protected by an imposing curved windshield that extends to the deck saloon. At the stern, the two bulwarks with polished stainless steel grills recall the family feeling of the most recent Riva yachts, like the 76' Perseo.

The stern also benefits from a major innovation in front of a bathing platform. The transom that houses the steps to access the boat tilts to become a beach club. An underwater lighting system can be installed on request. There are also two large storage units on each side of the steps. At the back of the boat, there are two sunbathing areas, with a central walkway to access the cockpit. The aisle can be covered with another cushion to form a very large relaxation area.

In the cockpit there is a large C-shaped settee located around the folding table in mahogany and stainless steel. This space, where there are many technical and storage compartments, can be covered with a hydraulic retractable bimini.

Behind the helm station, there are two pieces of furniture that, in addition to holding the structure of the pilot and co-pilot seats, can also serve as a work surface. The mahogany top that covers them lifts up to reveal a sink, a cutting board, a drawer for glasses and a refrigerator. In the cabinet on the starboard side, there is an ice dispenser as well as two waste garbage cans for sorting waste.

The helm station takes its inspiration from the race car interior: the entire control panel is made of carbon fiber and there is a mahogany and polished stainless steel wheel. There are also other chrome details. In addition to the pilot and co-pilot seats there is a third seat on the starboard side. Finally, the light on the left side of the windshield, a characteristic of the Aquarama and Aquariva super models, recalls the ancestry of past and present icons.

Inside, the layout is luxurious and the space is open. There is a kitchen (sink, refrigerator and microwave), a bathroom with separate shower and a living room in the front that converts into a double bed. Two skylights on the ceilings of the bathroom and the kitchen allow to air the room.

Rivamare is equipped with a pair of Volvo Penta D6 400 DPH engines (stern drive) each generating 400 Mhp at 3,500 rpm with integrated trim. In terms of performance, the boat can reach a cruising speed of 31 knots and a maximum speed of 40 knots (preliminary data). With its integrated control system and joystick, it is easy to maneuver in narrow channels or when docking.
