A book, a rope, knots

Glénat has brought together 2 leading figures in the nautical world to produce a beautiful work that is both practical and educational, but also pretty and pleasant to consult

Sailor's knots make you dream. To know and learn them, this book is both elegant and didactic. You can reproach it with a plastic cover (supposedly to protect it), but its spiral binding and the little bit of bitch delivered with the book show its pedagogical vocation.

Patrick Moreau discovered his passion for ropes and their knotting late on. As an officer in classic yachts, he loves above all to share his love of ropes. He has published several books and videos on knots.

Jean-Benoît Héron is an illustrator who uses both pen and watercolour. Boat enthusiasts will recognize the signature of the son of the man who imagined the plates on the birth of boats or the famous winged fish of the Voiles et Voiliers logo.

The meeting of these two characters results in an illustrated book on knots, a didactic book, but which can also be leafed through for the pleasure of the eye. The publisher has taken care to add a slut so that you can learn and practice tying knots at will.
