The Targa 30, a real novelty for Botnia Marine

During the Nautic, last December, Snip Yachting, exclusive importer of Targa, announced the release of the Targa 30 for spring 2016. We now know a little more about this new boat. Here is what the first new boat from the Finnish shipyard in 4 years will look like.

The Finnish shipyard Botnia Marine is preparing a Targa 30 for spring 2016. With a length of 10 m, it will fit between the Targa 27 (8.90 m) and the Targa 32 (10.78 m). This will be the first new model from the yard in 4 years, even if every year "novelties" were presented. In fact, it was more of a specific version, according to the customer's needs, but not a real new boat.

It will have the same facilities as the 32, i.e. two cabins and a bathroom. At the front, there will be a cabin with two twin beds, while the owner's cabin, with a double bed and an extra berth, will be located at the rear. The shower room with toilet will be adjacent.

The Targa 30 will be powered by two Volvo Penta D4 300 HP engines for a speed of at least 40 knots (74 km/h). Speed and performance are therefore at the heart of this new boat.

Like the other models of the Finnish shipyard, the cockpit will be entirely protected by handrails and a central gate will secure the access to the bathing platform, covering the engines. The space will be occupied by numerous stowages and a bench seat, freeing the space for fishing.

Access to the wheelhouse will be through a side door and a steering position will be installed on the flybridge.
