Presented officially on the 55 e the Evo 43 has already made a lot of noise at the Cannes and Monaco boat shows. Rossi Navi, one of the most renowned Italian yacht builders, had chosen the Evo43 as a tender to accompany its clients on the waters of the Principality.
Designed, developed and built in Italy by Sea Engineering Group, based on a project by the Tecnico Rivellini studio, with interior and exterior design by Valerio Rivellini, the Evo 43 is a fast, 13-meter day-cruiser with sculpted, smooth and minimalist lines. The boat has a straight bow and high freeboards. The straight superstructure incorporates an 8 mm tempered glass windshield with a square, symmetrical shape.
All those straight, streamlined lines and square shapes give the boat a powerful, fast look.
The minimalist helm station features a curved light wood dashboard with a joystick to control the two Volvo IPS 600 engines, a steering wheel and all the boat's control electronics. The pilot enjoys a clear 360° view.
The cockpit, which like the rest of the boat is covered in teak, has an area that can easily be fitted with modular, cube-shaped seating. An extendable table and a counter containing an induction cooker, a sink and a retractable refrigerator complete the set. Under the pilot's seat is a cooler with a capacity of 180 liters.
The cockpit can be sheltered by a canopy placed on 4 carbon fiber poles, or optionally by a carbon T-top.
The great innovation of the boat is at the stern. By activating a digital control, the sundeck changes completely. The bulwarks open in less than 30 seconds, increasing the usable space by 40% and transforming the interior into a 25m2 "feet in the water" terrace. It can then be used as a lounge, a sunbathing area (with deck chairs), a swimming platform or a diving platform.
At the front of the boat, a lockable door opens to a designer staircase in tempered glass with large illuminated steps. It leads to a double cabin on the bow, with its own entrance door, storage space and closet.
The bathroom is on the starboard side and has a full height shower with a ceramic and wood finished sink. Forward, there is a V-shaped dining area with a retractable table, which doubles as a sleeping area. Finally, a 42-inch TV is integrated into a mirror to bring another touch of luxury.
Despite its 13 m length, the Evo 43 is surprisingly spacious, with 4 berths and a separate bathroom. This advantageous space is also due to the choice of compact Volvo IPS engines and the ergonomic layout of the boat.
The boat is constructed of composite material - fiberglass impregnated with resin - which allows precise control of thickness and weight, as well as a 20% gain in displacement compared to the same type and length of boat with the same engines.
For the engine, Sea Engineering Group has chosen two Volvo Penta IPS 600 engines (for a total of 870 HP): powerful, reliable, quiet, easy to use, moderate consumption. Safety on board is reinforced by alarms during automatic movements (hangar, hydraulic cockpit bulwarks, tilting hull platformâ?¦);
The sporty hull was designed by the Rivellini studio, to make the Evo 43 a powerful and lively boat, with a maximum speed of 38 knots, a cruising speed of 30 knots and a range of 300 miles.
Evo43 is the first model of the new Evo Yachts brand, born in early 2015 from the expertise of Sea Engineering Group, operational in the yachting industry since 2008 with over 150 boats produced for the Blue Ice and Blue Martin brands.
The Italian sales of Evo Yachts are directly managed by Sea Engineering Group, while the international sales will be managed by Moravia Yachting, located in Monaco.
