After its launch five years ago, Bénéteau's Gran Turismo range is expanding. This range of sporty and stylish boats are designed on an Air-Step hull, accompanied by a twin diesel or petrol engine with a panoramic view cockpit and clever arrangements designed for cruising.
A sporty and spacious star
The Gran Turismo 40 is a 12.55 m long sports boat, designed, like its predecessors, on an Air-Step hull. the latest generation of gliding hull provides a maximum feeling of control and safety for a displacement up to 35 knots. Powered by a Volvo Z Drive, this sport-cruiser is easily manoeuvrable.
The GT40 is a very bright hard-top thanks to the electric side windows, but also to its sunroof. Like the other models in the range, it offers protection while maximizing the space available outside, as an Open model could do.
The large cockpit can accommodate 12 people. A large "L" shaped bench on the starboard side serves as a dining area with a table while opposite there is another bench. The three-seat cockpit is centered for greater visibility and comfort on board. The cockpit is transformed into a large sunbathing area and allows you to rest in the sun. It completes the 4 m2 front sunbathing area, equipped with hinged backrests.
At the rear, the bathing platform (1.30 m deep), optionally motorized, drops below the water level, like what you can see on superyachts. The tender can remain on it while sailing.
The interior volume is spacious. Access to the convertible saloon is via a staircase located to the port side of the cockpit, all in brightness. Indeed, the large glass wall overlooking the descent allows light to enter the boat. Inside, there is a real fitted kitchen that completes the deck kitchen, two bedrooms, and a real bathroom with separate shower.
