Sea trials for a fast boat
The Neel Trimarans team was able to test its new boat last June. Tested in the Breton channel, the Neel 65 fulfills all the promises made by the team. In 15 to 25 knots of wind, the boat moved forward at a speed of 13 to 16 knots. After one year of construction, this test confirms the results in terms of performance and behavior at sea. The Neel 65 is positioned in the fast cruising multihull category.

A trimaran that requires a good knowledge of navigation
All the deck equipment, electric winches and the helm station on the flybridge are designed to facilitate navigation and make the boat maneuverable. However, this giant trimaran (19.80 m long and 12.05 m wide) is not for everyone.

From a size greater than 50 feet (15.24 m), sailing boats become more difficult to sail. This class of boat often requires a skipper, because they are very big and therefore quite hard to handle. And this is even more the case with trimarans, which are quite rare in this size. The Neel 65 is the largest cruising trimaran produced in series and the first one will be operated in charter in the Caribbean.

A spacious and open interior
The interior of the Neel 65 measures 110 m2 in total. This first model is equipped with 6 double cabins with private bathrooms. On the main deck, there is a large cockpit of 25m2 with an outside kitchen. The large saloon (which opens completely to the outside) houses a large central kitchen, the chart table and two cabins with their own bathrooms.

Two other cabins are located in the central hull, and the two floats each house one cabin (with their own bathrooms). The smaller Neel 45 is not configured in this way at all.

Finally, the 21m2 flybridge is equipped with a double helm station and a table for 8 people with benches. It can be transformed into a large sunbathing area.
