Created in 2009, the International Multihull Show has found its place among the many shows dedicated to yachting. This unique event is entirely dedicated to new multihulls - catamarans and cruising trimarans - sailing or motorized, which are exposed to the sea. This world showcase of multihull yachting will be completed by an exhibiting village, hosting the services and equipment related to the activity. Many exhibitors and boats from all over the world will be on display for 5 days, and some models will be unveiled exclusively.
By 2014, the exhibition had welcomed 14,800 visitors, 47% of whom were foreigners. It is to note the international scope of the show.
This unmissable event allows visitors to the Autumn shows to come and discover the models on the water. The main market players will present their flagship models or their brand new models: Catana, Lagoon, Flash Catamarans, Fountaine-Pajot, Leopard, Nautitech, Neel trimarans, Outremer Yachting, Privilege Marine or Swiss Catamarans.
The Multihull Club Design will be the place where architects, designers, designers, custom projects will be gathered. This year, Banulsdesign, Berret Racoupeau Yacht Design, CNB Lagoon Custom, VPLP, JFA Yachts..
The rental professionals will be gathered in the Multihull Charter area. They will introduce their cruises, far away or by the week, as well as the dedicated units present in the basin.
The esplanade of the port will bring together all the professionals dedicated to the multihull market: fittings, equipment, sails, engine manufacturers, interior fittings, electronics, service providers..
A booming market
The multihull market is booming, attracting more and more boaters. Today, it represents about 30% of the world's sailing turnover. Many appreciate its comfort and stability, ideal for safe, family-friendly sailing. It is true that multihulls are mostly more spacious than monohulls. They are also widely used in the rental market and represent between 30 and 50% of sales depending on the manufacturer. Around 1000 multihulls are produced each year worldwide: 80% of sail models and 20% of motor models.
Practical Information
The International Multihull Show is open from Wednesday 15 to Saturday 18 April 2015 from 10 am to 7 pm. On Sunday, April 19, access will be from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. It will be held on the western median of the port at La Grande-Motte (34,280). 7 ? from 16 years old - Free for under 16s and students.
