Kismet, the superyacht at the bow of Jaguar


Kismet is a 95 metre luxury yacht built at the request of billionaire Shahid Khan, businessman and owner, among others, of Jacksonville's professional football team, the Jaguars. It was probably to pay tribute to his team that he equipped his bow with a huge jaguar 4 meters long.

Kismet is a 95 meters (312 feet) superyacht, built in 2014, by Lürssen Shipyard, famous for its luxury yacht creations and notably, Azzam, the largest yacht in the world. Its interior design was designed by Reymond Langton Design and the exterior is by Espen Oeino. It belongs to Pakistani-American billionaire Shahid Khan, owner of the Jaguars, Jacksonville's professional football team. Estimated at over 200 million euros, it is the second largest yacht in the world Kismet from Khan, Jacksonville. The first, 68 metres long (223 feet), was sold for an estimated 108 million euros a year ago.

This luxurious yacht can accommodate 16 guests, thanks to its 8 cabins, including its master suite with private terrace, jacuzzi and helicopter runway. In addition to visitors, it can also accommodate 28 crew members. The living spaces are elegantly and comfortably furnished, decorated in a timeless style with beautiful furniture. On its decks there are many services such as an outdoor bar, a jacuzzi and large sunbathing area, conducive to relaxation.

Anchor stabilizers increase comfort on board and allow it to be better secured on rough waters. The maximum speed of the yacht is 17 knots and its cruising speed is 14 knots.

The exterior of the Kismet was created to meet customer demand, with numerous sunbathing areas and dining areas. The external deck facilities include an outdoor chimney, relaxation and dining areas on three different decks. There is also a fully equipped barbecue, an oval pool with integrated jacuzzi and a private observation platform with a general view.

The interior was designed by Reymond Langton Design using a wide variety of handmade textiles, illustrations and graphics, exotic woods and rare marble. All these luxurious materials make it an exceptional yacht. Meticulous detailing, complex woodwork, organic shapes and contrasting textures create an elegant and consistent design.

Kismet is available for charter through Moran Yacht & Ship for 1.2 million euros per week. It is one of the most expensive yachts in the world to charter.
