The Chinese boat was hit by a barrage of damage, but managed to recover and finish in 4th place.

The Franco-Chinese team, which had to face many damages during the last few days, found itself last in the ranking. And as a problem never comes alone, the rail of their mainsail came off. However, Charles Caudrelier believed that it was still possible to reach the podium in Auckland. And that's what the crew did, as they are now in 4th place e position.

The fleet is still led by Team Brunel, but Abu Dhabi is not far behind. During the night, the Emirati boat had lost 6 miles on Team Brunel, but had recovered 4 miles in the next ranking. For the moment, the Dutch boat has a 28 mile lead, but everything can change quickly.

In this group of western boats, Alvimedica is the one most in danger. In the space of a few hours, the American-Turkish boat has lost two places, to the delight of Dongfeng. Caudrelier, placed at the east of the fleet, seems to be out of his bad situation, as Team SCA or MAPFRE. The Franco-Chinese team even managed to get ahead of the women's team.
