Eric Péron back in Ocean Fifty

Eric Péron has decided to take part in the Arkea Ultim Challenge, a round-the-world race for Ultims in 2023, but has not found the necessary funding to join the circuit. In the meantime, he's rejoining the Ocean Fifty circuit on the French Touch Oceans Club boat. Starting this weekend, Eric Péron will take part in The Arch, a crewed race with Thomas Le Breton and Christophe Boutet, between Saint-Nazaire and Saint-Malo, before moving on to the Trophée des Multicoques Baie de Saint-Brieuc from July 13 to 16, followed by the Rolex Fastnet Race from July 22. He will also take the start of the Transat Jacques Vabre on October 29.

Call for entries for Challenge Région Bretagne - CMB Océane

Launched in 2019 by the Brittany Region and Crédit Mutuel de Bretagne with the aim of promoting gender diversity in ocean racing, the Challenge Océane was a great success from its very first edition. First won by Élodie Bonafous, it was then Chloé Le Bars who came out on top in 2021. Two years after her selection, the young sailor is preparing to hand over the helm of her Figaro at the end of the year. The Filière d'excellence de course au large is therefore looking for its new Océane skipper. The Challenge Océane is open to all women with a FFVoile license, aged between 18 and 29, who are motivated by ocean racing. Applications are due between June 1 and September 15.
