Discover the French Olympic Sailing Team 2015

The FFVoile unveiled the composition of its French Olympic Sailing team for 2015 on Wednesday 3rd December.

The new athletes who make up the 2015 French Olympic Sailing Team are finally known! We find 25 high level athletes including 6 new ones to make their entry in the French team.

The year 2014 was rich in success and allowed France to qualify for the Rio Olympics in 2016, but also to affirm the status of best nation in sailing alongside the English, Australians, New Zealanders and Dutch. In 2015, this new team will now be selected for the 10 series of the Olympic Games. The program is already looking busy with numerous training sessions and international events!

Nacra 17 (mixed double catamaran)

Incomingâeuros¦

Among the newcomers, we find Thomas Goyard, with a great performance at the world championships, Guillaume Pirouelle and Valentin Sipan who have achieved great performances in two years on the 470 circuit as well as a very nice world championship in Santander. Also Marie Bolou who showed her talent in Laser Radial as well as Eugenie Ricard and Thomas Le Breton who are back in the French team after having better results than in 2013.

Some athletes are also no longer part of the French team but will continue to benefit from a follow-up. They are Nicolas Charbonnier and Nicolas Le Berre (470) and Sarah Steyaert and Julie Bossard (49er FX).
