At Port Maritima: a sailboat auction for bargain hunters

As in previous years, this auction brings together a wide range of yachts, from small coastal cruisers to steel cruisers. The bids remain low, attracting both novice sailors and seasoned yachtsmen looking for a project.

The boats will be on display between 9:30 and 11:30 a.m. on the same day, a short but essential time to inspect the hulls, decks and fittings, and get a realistic idea of the general condition before bidding.

Four yachts for sale

The first boat up for auction is a 12-meter Reinke named Ariele, built in 1987. A comfortable cruising sailboat, it is powered by a 67 hp engine. The hammer price is ?8500.

The second lot concerns Seventy Six, an Artecna Delph 24 built in 1976. This sailboat is powered by a 6 hp Johnson outboard. A simple unit, suitable for coastal sailing or as a first boat. Bidding starts at ?1,000.

The third yacht, Nouba, is based on a Joubert design and was built in steel by Michel Nivet. Measuring 10.5 m long, it is powered by a 35 hp Craftman diesel engine. A boat with a more offshore program, offered with a starting price of 7500?.

Finally, Windsor Buoy is a Poker sailboat built in 1973. She is powered by a Beta Marine Beta 21 hp engine. She is priced at ?4,000.

Practical details and registration

Prior registration is required at the Hôtel des ventes de Martigues before noon on the day of the sale, or online via the Interencheres platform. The sale begins at 2 p.m. at the dry port, 8 rue Frédéric Sauvage, Martigues. It is also possible to participate live via Interencheres.

After the auction, boats are collected by appointment, within 30 days, and guarded according to port tariffs.
