Stage 1: Morlaix âeuros Aber Wrac'h, a short warm-up session

The first leg on Monday, July 28, 2025 set off from Morlaix Bay after a coordinated start via the lock. In light but steady winds early in the morning, the fleet sailed along the Ile de Batz, the Côte des Sables and the Côte des Légendes.
But the calm caught up with the racers. Faced with almost no wind in the middle of the day, the organizers neutralized the race at the 2 p.m. mark. The boats finished the race under motor as far as Aber Wrac'h, to respect the stopover schedule.
Stage 2: Aber Wrac'h âeuros Aber Ildut, between lighthouses and strategy

On Tuesday July 29, the fleet set off from Europe's highest lighthouse, Ile Vierge, for Aber Ildut. This coastal course took the yachts as far as the Four lighthouse, a strategic cape to negotiate with its strong currents.
An 8-9 knot wind made for good sailing at the start of the day, before a further drop in the wind forced tight tactical management. The finish in Lampaul-Plouarzel saw some great battles under spinnaker, with the top three crossing the line within three minutes of each other.
Stage 3: Aber Ildut âeuros Douarnenez, across the Iroise

On Wednesday July 30, the third leg promised to be a demanding one. The initial start from Aber Ildut was cancelled due to lack of wind. After motoring to Pointe Saint-Mathieu, the new start was launched off Camaret at 1.30pm.
With a steady breeze of 12 knots, the crews were able to exploit their potential. The smaller boats cut straight across the bay of Douarnenez, while the larger ones skirted Morgat before converging on Tréboul. A visual stage, punctuated by a finish under spinnaker in the golden evening light.
Stage 4: Douarnenez âeuros Plobannalec-Lesconil, heading into the night

Thursday July 31 took place in two stages: first, a course built in the morning in the Bay of Douarnenez, followed by a late afternoon departure for an overnight leg.
The crews crossed the Raz de Sein at the reversal of the tide, a key moment in the race. The OS1s rounded Les Glénan, while the other groups headed via Groix. The night navigation was demanding: continuous watch, managing lights and currents. The first group arrived in Plobannalec-Lesconil in the early hours of the morning, the last in the afternoon.
Stage 5: Plobannalec-Lesconil âeuros Port-La-Forêt, final sprint

Saturday August 2, 2025, the final stage of this 39th edition. The stretch between Lesconil and Port-La-Forêt was fast and technical. The racers had to deal with the shoals and islets of the Glénan archipelago, a demanding playground for a final regatta.
The light, steady wind ensured smooth progress to the finish line in the port of Port-La-Forêt, a center of excellence for ocean racing. A finale worthy of this Breton touring race.
