The Snim 2025, organized by the Société Nautique de Marseille, offered a particularly dynamic third day of regattas. Favorable weather conditions enabled the race committees to launch a significant number of races, giving crews the opportunity to demonstrate their skills on a variety of courses.âeuros
A busy day in the North Harbour

Under the direction of Paul Bastard, chairman of the race committee in the northern harbor, the IRC 0 to 3 sailed four legs, alternating constructed courses and cÃ'tier. The crews had to show their reactivity and precision to adapt to the different course configurations. Wind conditions, with a steady southeasterly flow of around 15 knots, provided an ideal playing field for some hard-fought regattas.âeuros

Adapted courses for duos
Aware of the particular demands of double-handed sailing, the organizers offered the Duo crews two coastal courses, totalling almost 30 nautical miles. This configuration kept fatigue to a minimum, while maintaining a high level of competition. The fleet remained compact throughout the legs, with each duo seeking to optimize its trajectory to gain places in the general ranking.âeuros
A lively southern harbor

In the southern harbor, the IRC 4s sailed three constructed courses in the morning, followed by a 17-mile coastal course in the afternoon. The wind conditions made for fast, technical regattas, highlighting the crewsâ?? mastery of maneuvers and tactical choices.âeuros
Grand Surprise in action
The Grand Surprise one-designs sailed several races over the course of the day, with particularly hard-fought starts and buoy crossings. The density of the fleet and the proximity of the boats required constant vigilance on the part of the crews to avoid contact and optimize trajectories.âeuros
