After the 88 DC, Finnish manufacturer Yamarin has unveiled the 80 DC. The latest arrival is a little smaller (8.28 m / 27 ft), but offers a very different layout, more versatile and more Mediterranean.
A sleek, sporty design
In terms of aesthetics, the 80 DC T-Top follows the main lines of the rest of the range with a sleek and modern design, with a focus on performance and comfort.

The hull stretches lengthwise, and the boat's low height on the water reinforces its sporty appearance.
The T-top adds both a sporty look and practical protection from the sun or the rain, allowing for all-weather cruising.

This T-top is particularly interesting as it incorporates a roof window, a rigid part under the canvas and can also be used to tow a wakeboarder.
An exterior deck designed for the sun
Designed with a more Mediterranean feel than previous models, the 80 DCV T-Top boasts two beautiful bathing areas around the engine and another one a little above, before accessing the cockpit.

The Yamarin 80 DC T-Top includes a spacious and functional deck layout, optimized for relaxation and entertaining. The cockpit area is equipped with comfortable seating for 4 passengers on starboard, a dining table, and additional storage.

All this space can be turned into a solarium. On the port side, there are two more seats and, in the middle, a small galley unit with sink and fridge.

From this cockpit, you can also use the portside gangway to access the forward solarium, the anchor or to disembark from the bow. It's a good idea, especially as this passageway can be closed by the windshield.
It's also worth noting that although Scandinavia anchors from the stern, the manufacturer has added an additional anchorage on the bow for other countries.

Finally, the T-top itself offers shade and some protection from the elements, enhancing the comfort of the cockpit area during long cruises.
In the cockpit, the Yamarin 80 DC T-Top offers a beautiful, ergonomic and functional dashboard with two screens, touchscreen controls and even an integrated audio system. Cutting-edge electronics including GPS, sonar, and Bluetooth connectivity, will also make navigation and entertainment easy.
A real cabin to spend the night in
The last surprise of this layout is below deck. Indeed, the Yamarin offers a luxurious cabin with sleeping accommodations for overnight trips.

There's a double berth forward, a lounge chair to port and a real toilet with w.c. and sink.

Finally, under the cockpit, the designers have succeeded in accommodating a half-cabin that can be used for children or for storage.

High-quality materials and finishes are likely to be emphasized, with large windows and skylights that allow for ample natural light inside.
Performance that looks promising
Yamarin is widely recognized for the quality of its hulls, and the 80 DC seems to be no exception. The boat features streamlined hull lines, giving it both speed and stability on the water, while maintaining Yamarin's signature style.

This boat is designed to provide a smooth and powerful ride, equipped with outboard engines that offer excellent speed and handling. Thanks to its close ties with Yamaha, the 80 DC is powered by a Japanese outboard motor.
The manufacturer has announced a top speed of around 43 knots (50 mph). Ideal performance for water sports enthusiasts, but also for activities like wakeboarding or fishing.

At the end, the Yamarin 80 DC T-Top is really built for versatility, from day trips to longer cruises, combining comfort with robust performance. It would appeal to families, couples, and adventure-seekers alike.
