Edenred, a new Ocean Fifty joins the fleet for spring 2025

After Class40 and Le Figaro, Edenred is extending its sponsorship in the world of sailing by announcing its commitment to the Ocean Fifty class from 2025. In partnership with Neo Sailing Technologies, a new trimaran in Edenred colors will be launched, with the duo Basile Bourgnon and Emmanuel Le Roch at the helm.

Edenred announces its move into the Ocean Fifty class with a trimaran skippered by Basile Bourgnon and Emmanuel Le Roch. This move marks a major strategic evolution for Edenred, from monohull to multihull, and, according to the sponsor, is part of an approach based on innovation and performance. This project is not only a technical breakthrough, but also a human adventure that highlights the sharing and passion of sailing.

A trimaran designed by Romaric Neyhousser

After seven years' experience in monohulls, Edenred embraces multihulls, announcing a significant step forward in its commitment to sailing. This move to the Ocean Fifty, scheduled for spring 2025, embodies an ambition to compete on a larger scale. The association with Neo Sailing Technologies and the expertise of architect Romaric Neyhousser promise an innovative, high-performance boat. The multihull, renowned for its speed and technical challenges, offers a new platform for Edenred to highlight its commitment to innovation and performance in sport.

Under construction at Le Verdon

The construction of the new Ocean Fifty, entrusted to Neo Sailing Technologies in Le Verdon-sur-Mer, benefits from cutting-edge technical expertise, as the yard was founded by Lalou Roucayrol, an Ocean Fifty specialist who built Arkema 4. Under the leadership of Quentin Vlaminck, ex-skipper of the latter, and with the architectural support of Romaric Neyhousser, the trimaran is designed to be at the cutting edge of innovation. The collaborative approach adopted by the skippers, the technical team and the architect has resulted in a boat that combines performance, safety and respect for the environment. The involvement of Emmanuel Le Roch and Basile Bourgnon in the design process underlines the importance of real-life experience and maritime know-how in the realization of such a project.

A shared human adventure

Beyond the technical and performance aspects, this project is a real human adventure. Their shared passion for sailing and multihulls creates a unique bond between Basile Bourgnon and Emmanuel Le Roch, who are united by their shared history and ambitions. The notion of sharing is at the heart of this initiative, which aims to unite around the project not only the team, but also Edenred employees and the sailing community.

The trimaran's launch is scheduled for spring 2025.
