Scanstrut Atmos, an integrated inflator for on-board paddles

What could be more delicate than inflating your paddle once you've arrived at anchor? Whether using a manual pump or even an electric inflator, installation on a boat, whether sailing or motorized, is always tricky. In 2024, Scanstrut launched the Atmos inflator, which integrates into the boat. This means it's always on station, powered by 12 V and ready for use. This powerful pump can inflate up to 20 PSI (1.5 bar), given that a paddle must be inflated to at least 15 PSI (1 bar). A display monitors the pressure build-up, with the option of setting a maximum pressure at which the device will stop. Price: ?650 inc.

French Eau Onezéro, an osmosis unit without electricity!

French Eau is a company that aims to eliminate the use of plastic bottles on board boats. It has developed the Onezéro, a compact osmosis unit operating without electricity, capable of working solely with the existing pressure of the pressurized pump (starting at 1.5 bar). Starting from the boat's freshwater tank, it is capable of producing 2 liters of potable osmosis water every 10 minutes via a set of 2 membranes mounted in parallel. Its integrated storage capacity is 3 liters under pressure. Small (38 x 37 x 20 cm), it is easy to install in a cupboard. Osmosis water is dispensed at the sink via a separate gooseneck or 3-way tap to avoid contaminating the water. Onezéro price: ?1,637 incl. VAT plus ?95 for the replacement cartridge (1 cartridge per year).

Nautibuoy, a range of inflatable platforms for yachts

Don't know what to do with all your toys at anchor? Nautibuoy, a British manufacturer, offers a range of mutually adaptable platforms that are easily deflated, folded and stowed by crew members. The largest platform weighs 42 kg and can be carried by just two people. The platforms are fitted with soft "faux teak" PE foam underfoot, for an elegant finish. Jet ski garages, sunbathing shelters and secluded swimming pools are just some of the options available for these inflatable platforms of all sizes.
