For its 2023 edition, the Le Mille Sabords boat show is innovating, welcoming new boats and focusing ever more on fishing and new sailing practices. These are key assets for an event that attracts yachtsmen from an ever-growing part of the coastline.

New boats at Mille Sabords

The Le Mille Sabords 2023 boat show will be a landmark event in more ways than one, first and foremost by welcoming new boats for the 1st time in 39 editions of the event. A key event in the pre-owned boat market, the Morbihan boat show is now open to new boats presented by professionals. These boats are expected to account for around 20% of the Mille Sabords offering. As the last major show of the year in France, from October 26 to 29, 2023, it will be an opportunity for yachtsmen to take advantage of the 2023 rates.

A major boat show

Following the trend of recent years, the Mille Sabords aims to continue consolidating its position as a key event in the nautical calendar, attracting enthusiasts from all over northern and western France, from the North Sea to the mouth of the Loire. With 300 individual and professional exhibitors, an exhibition area of 10,000 m2 on land and up to 500 boats afloat and ashore, the show is a major event. Attendance over the 4 days of the free show is estimated at 60,000 visitors.

Fishing and new nautical practices

Visitors to the 2023 event will find their favorite themes further reinforced. As the appeal of fishing continues to grow, an amateur fishing challenge, the Mille Sabords Fishing, will bring together fishing enthusiasts on October 28, 2023, complementing the numerous displays of fishing equipment and boats at the show.

The appetite for new water sports continues unabated among young people and all water sports enthusiasts. Le Mille Sabords is sure to satisfy them, presenting the latest technologies and models for flying and gliding, from light sails to wings and foils.

Emmanuel Jacobée, President of the Mille Sabords, concludes: "In recent years, the marine market has undergone major upheavals. Against this backdrop, it is vital that our show evolves in line with these changes, demonstrating the dynamism of our association of yachting professionals. The turning point we are about to reach is of the utmost importance. It demonstrates our determination to remain competitive in a constantly changing environment."
