Treat yourself by equipping your boat with the latest in electronic equipment! For fishermen, motorboat or sailboat enthusiasts, here are the latest products offered by manufacturers.

Furuno, a Side Scan CHIRP probe that reaches far

Side scan probes "see" the sides of the boat. Unfortunately, their range is often limited. With the new AI-225T-SS904 side scan probe, the range is now 200 m (650 ft) on each side! The maximum range is 4 times the depth for this transducer, which operates with a frequency of 220 to 240 kHz. This probe can be used with the NAvNet TZT 12, 16 and 19 inch plotters by plugging it in directly or through the network for the TZT9F and TZT2BB. Price 2023 : 1440 euros TTC.

LXNAV Marine, from aviation to navy

With its classic round screen look, the E350 from LXNAV features a bright digital display and a mechanical needle. It's programmed to work with NMEA 2000, displaying all of the boat's information and even a free OpenSeaMaps chart. Many pages are integrated with alarms. As an option, a rotary knob controls this IPX6 waterproof display. Price 2023 : 1452 euros TTC

Huminbird, a MEGA Live TargetLock probe independent of the Minkota engine

The MEGA Live TargetLock is independent of the Minkota electric motor shaft. This allows the angler to steer the transducer as desired, even while the motor is running to "anchor" the boat. The transducer is controlled by a wireless foot pedal or an optional hand-held remote control. Numerous options, such as "locking" the transducer to a structure, make it easy to fish. MEGA Live package = TargetLock + MEGA Live transducer : 4199 euros TTC
