Side scan probes "see" the sides of the boat. Unfortunately, their range is often limited. With the new AI-225T-SS904 side scan probe, the range is now 200 m (650 ft) on each side! The maximum range is 4 times the depth for this transducer, which operates with a frequency of 220 to 240 kHz. The MEGA Live TargetLock is independent of the Minkota electric motor shaft. This allows the angler to steer the transducer as desired, even while the motor is running to "anchor" the boat. The transducer is controlled by a wireless foot pedal or an optional hand-held remote control. Numerous options, such as "locking" the transducer to a structure, make it easy to fish.
