Where to admire the boats in Saint-Malo?

The fleet of the Route du Rhum is spread out in the heart of the Vauban and Duguay-Trouin basins, in the heart of the city. For the first time, the Ultims will be present alongside the rest of the fleet.

The 8 Ultims will be moored in the Bassin Vauban along the quays of the Bourse and the Quai Saint-Louis, among which we will also find "Flo", Philippe Poupon's trimaran, which, due to its size, will not be able to join its comrades of the Rhum Multi class. Still in the Bassin Vauban, on the Quai Saint-Vincent side, we will find the 55 Class40 and the 15 other Rhum Multi.

On the Bassin Duguay-Trouin will be lined up the 8 Ocean Fifty, the 37 IMOCA and the 14 Rhum Mono.

The passage of the locks before the start of the race

Due to the rhythm of the tides, the boats will have to leave the pontoons of the Port Vauban a few days before the start of the race. The Ultims, and the trimaran "Flo" in the Rhum Multi will open the ball on Friday, November 4, with three departures staggered by one hour between 14:08 and 16:08.

The Rhum Mono, Rhum Multi and Ocean Fifty will follow the next day, November 5, at 7:39 am, 8:39 am and 2:00 pm. The IMOCA boats will continue at 12:42, 16:00 and 17:00. Finally, the Class40s will be the last to leave the dock on the day of the start, Sunday, November 6, between 6:00 and 7:00 am.
