Boat clubs adapted to the place of navigation
By becoming a member of a Freedom Boat Club, the yachtsman has access to a fleet of boats adapted to his needs. Depending on the membership package chosen, he/she can freely dispose of the boat of his/her choice. They have access to comfortable, well-maintained boats, with all options and adapted to the place of navigation. "It is a real club operation. Our members can use the boats as much as they want, without any limit of use, and without any distinction of the type of boat" says Céline Bertin of Freedom Boat Club Cap d'Agde.
Subscriptions and entrance fees
To become a member, the yachtsman pays an entrance fee, payable only once. This initial membership starts at 1,500 euros. It depends on the location of the club (location, berths) as well as the available fleet of boats.
The client can then choose between 2 main formulas corresponding to a monthly rate. The first one gives access to the boats only on weekdays, from Monday to Friday, from 225 euros per month, while the second one is valid for sailing every day, including weekends.
The classic subscriptions are linked to a single captain, holder of a boat license. A grouped formula, called "friends-family", allows to reduce the costs, by sharing the subscription with another person. This allows you to go out together or separately, while enjoying the benefits of the club.
A "company" formula, allows the company manager to give his employees, customers or suppliers access to navigation without constraints. This offer is accessible to up to 4 captains, having the boat license.
Except for the cost of gas, all costs are included in the subscriptions.
A club for year-round sailing anywhere in the world
Coupled with a 2-month notice period, the entry fee limits the bargain effect. They make the difference with a simple unlimited membership and prevent people from taking out a membership in July and August and then canceling it. The Freedom Boat Club can thus guarantee its members boats available all year round, including in high season.
As an added bonus, membership in the Freedom Boat Club is valid at the club's bases around the world. The boater can thus enjoy boats in all regions, and in all countries, through several hundred bases on American and European waters (Spain, England, Denmark).
