The Sailmon Max GPS is an instrument dedicated to light sailing or one-design sport keelboats. It is totally autonomous and can be installed on the mast of these small boats that do not have an electrical system on board.
The GPS Sailmon Max has its own battery (it is recharged by induction and has 24 hours of autonomy). Waterproof (so no risk to desalting), it has an integrated 25 Hz GNSS (GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, Beidou). Thus, it becomes a powerful navigation tool by indicating on its two-tone anti-glare screen of 4.4" (320 x 240 pixels):
- The position
- The speed
- The cape
- The angle of repose
- Pitching
- Countdown with a stopwatch
- Distance from the line at the start
- The VMG
The display is customizable according to the user's needs.

This ensures performance on board and above all increases it. Indeed, once back on land, the box connects with a cell phone to review the navigation data and compare them between equipped boats, but also compare them with identical boat models (a complete database is available).
An optional wireless ultrasonic wind sensor (solar powered) adds wind data to the instrument:

Compact (93 x 118.5 x 22 m) and light (275 g), this instrument will be the companion of the sailors. It is available in a carrying case with its induction charger at a price of 899 euros (the wind sensor is priced at 499 euros and its support at 29.90 euros).
