Gain in width
"The basic concept of the Nauta 54m Wide began with requests from clients who wanted plenty of space on board to accommodate a family with all the expected comforts, but a yacht too large to dock in picturesque locations like St. Tropez or intimate bays in the Balearics." explains Mario Pedol, co-founder of Nauta Design in Milan. "So instead of focusing on the overall length, we expanded the master beam to 11 meters and developed an innovative overall layout." he adds.
Despite its length, the Nauta 54m Wide does not have an excessively high superstructure. But it is the interior layout that distinguishes this steel and aluminum yacht. Starting with the engine room.
A technical area under the lower deck
The diesel-electric propulsion allows for greater flexibility in equipment repairs, and the 6 generators, switchboards, inverters and two 1000 kW propeller shaft electric motors or electric pods as an alternative, are located below deck, saving space for other accommodations.

A huge beach club
The boat is equipped with the patented "The Island" folding bulwark system, which allows the aft beach club to be enlarged, as well as creating side balconies, for a surface area of 100 m2. There is also a garage for water toys and an annex of almost 9 m.
6 cabins on the lower deck
Normally, the engine room would be located next to the beach club/garage annex, but since it is located below deck, the space is set up with 6 guest cabins and their private bathroom. One of the cabins can also be converted into a gym with spa. The crew quarters and accommodations as well as the laundry room are located at the front of the lower deck.
A huge master suite
The 75 m2 master suite with private office is located at the front of the main deck. The large walk-in closet isolates noise from the galley in the owner's cabin. A VIP suite on the starboard side facing the galley can also be used as a cabin for staff or children.
The 78 m2 main salon and dining room with sliding side glass doors open onto the main deck cockpit, from which the beach club is accessed via double staircases.

An upper deck dedicated to navigation
The upper deck offers a cabin for the captain and the first officer as well as a large office behind the wheelhouse. The aft part, named "Sky Lounge" is a more intimate relaxation area, to watch television for example, and is extended by a beautiful terrace for outdoor meals.
Outdoor living on the flybridge
Finally, the 137 m2 of flybridge gives access to a whirlpool, sun loungers, a dining area protected by the rigid hard-top or a bar with barbecue at the back.
