Super Kayak, two hulls for more stability and speed

The Super Kayak is a prototype of a kayak with two floats to be able to navigate in all stability. Currently on pre-order, it could see the light of day by the end of the summer.

More stability

Kirk Kirchev is an English designer who had fun developing a prototype kayak (3.60 m) equipped with two inflatable floats. The objective is to offer a more sandy and secure boat.

The Super Kayak is equipped with two inflatable hulls with double skin and a marine aluminum frame, between which is grafted a raised and adjustable seat for a better navigation position. An adjustable footrest with reinforcements allows you to get a good grip while sailing. On the back, a rigid reinforcement allows to install an electric motor.

The designer explains that he designed his hulls to gain speed and stability. Thus, the floats have a streamlined shape to glide easily on the water and without too much effort.

Easy to carry and inflate

Easy to assemble - 4 minutes to inflate the floats and install the elements - the Super Kayak is carried in a bag that also contains the pump and oars, for a weight of only 15 kg.

A fundraising for the production start-up

Imagined in July 2020, the Super Kayak now exists in a prototype version. The designer has started a fundraiser and collected enough money to launch the mass production of his boat in England. He hopes to deliver the first units in June 2021.

The Super Kayak is already available for pre-order at a discounted price of $1,399 (1158 euros), with a base price of $2,100.

Options are also being developed such as the possibility of choosing colors or the possibility of installing a mast for sailing.
