A range to come
After having established itself in the market of the luxury fast dayboat, built in carbon composite, the Turkish builder Mazu Yachts launches its first semi-displacement yacht, the 92 DS. This 28-meter steel yacht is the first model of this semi-displacement range, which will later welcome a 112 DS and a 132 DS.
If the manufacturer, a fan of carbon construction, chose steel for this new range, it justifies its choice by reasons of safety, comfort and resale value.
The DS92 will be powered by three Volvo Penta IPS 1050 engines for a top speed of 22 knots and a cruising speed of 16 knots.
A crossover yacht
The exterior design of the boat is modern and characterized by huge windows, letting in light on the one hand and offering a breathtaking view of the sea on the other. The two-tone hull breaks the crossover look of the boat and gives it an elegant aesthetic. The raised wheelhouse is installed on the front deck to provide maximum interior volume.
The owner's cabin is located at the front of the main deck, with its private bathroom and large side windows. The large salon is illuminated by huge windows, while walkways allow for movement around the deck and access to the elevated foredeck via stairs.
The large terrace hosts a dining table for 8 people. The bathing platform is accessed from below via two side stairs. The aft bulwarks fold out to further expand the space. Sliding glass doors lead to a beach club with bar for relaxing. This area, which can also be reached from the main salon, can be arranged according to the owner's wishes.
Forward are two guest cabins with two single beds and a transverse VIP suite. Two crew cabins with shared bathrooms complete the layout. The crew also has its own service staircase.
On the flybridge, there is a relaxation area, a dining area and an exterior steering position, all protected by a rigid hardtop.
The first model, which has begun construction, will be delivered to its owner in the summer of 2022.
