An auction to protect the oceans

From March 21 to 28, 2021, the Pure Ocean endowment fund is organizing an auction, the profits of which will be used to finance scientific oceanic research projects. Numerous prizes are presented, among which meetings with nautical sportsmen, VIP visits, sea outings or clothes of nautical sportsmen.

"Experience the Ocean", an auction to protect the oceans

To support scientific ocean research and mobilize for the protection of marine ecosystems, the Pure Ocean endowment fund, is organizing an online auction from March 21 to 28, 2021.

Pure Ocean's mission is to mobilize citizens to support scientific projects for the protection of biodiversity and fragile marine ecosystems and to raise public awareness about the situation of endangered ecosystems

This digital event will offer 20 lots ranging from 60 to 2000 euros, starting price. At the end of the sale, all the funds raised will be donated to the Pure Ocean Foundation to finance projects for the protection of the ocean.

These projects are selected by the foundation's Scientific Committee. Among the projects already supported are Spo-Plastic, which studies the capacity of marine sponges to degrade microplastics present in the water, and Coastal Ocean Watch, which assesses the quality of European coastal waters by satellite.
