Launched at the end of November 2020, the X5.6 is the new baby of the Danish shipyard X-Yachts, a pretty baby of more than 17 m... For this sailing boat intended for family navigation, the shipyard pushed very far the concept of the ease of life on board. And not only at anchor or in port, but in all moments of navigation.
Very wide (the main beam extends to the transom), this yacht has a double rudder. The double steering wheel clears the cockpit and the mainsail traveller integrated under the deck (in teak of course) does not offer any obstacle for the feet. At the rear, the transom tilts to reveal a tender garage. A simple, but very efficient mini crane allows to launch her effortlessly.
The fittings are also designed with this search for comfort in mind. Thus the saloon has a real bench in front of it, comparable to a sofa. Similarly, the kitchen includes a sufficiently large cold storage area and a dishwasher. Options that were usually added, but rarely provided in the factory. Among the details, we note the wax cabinet in the bathroom or even the small shelves provided so that shampoos can be stored in the showers.
This yacht, whose base price is around 1,200,000 euros excluding tax, will be available ready to sail at around 1,500,000 euros excluding tax. If the first example is already sailing in Denmark, it is this same n°1 which will be presented in September 2021 at the Cannes boat show.
