Less than 10 m for 4 double cabins
Launched in 2017, the Aventura 10 Power is the first power catamaran model from the Aventura Catamarans shipyard. By offering a multihull of less than 10 m, it is a daring - but profitable - gamble that the builder has made, as the shipyards prefer to focus on 40-foot models, the heart of the market.
Designed for coastal cruising - or even extended cruising - this 9.98 m catamaran can accommodate 3 cabins and 2 shower rooms and can even be fitted with an extra cabin. A rare feature on a boat of this size and ideal for a family.
A beautiful outdoor living space
Outside, the Aventura 10 Power offers three distinct living areas: a forward cockpit with a U-shaped bench seat and table, an aft cockpit available in several versions and a complete flybridge with steering position, sun deck and kitchenette.
While the cockpit of this model was left free to be fitted out and equipped with a tilting transom to benefit from a beautiful bathing platform at anchor, the yard developed a new version in 2019. Thus, in the CS version - Cockpit Saloon - the Aventura 10 Power now has a large U-shaped bench seat at the stern with the possibility of installing a dining table.
The manufacturer is also considering a more open and sporty version, without flybridge and powered by outboard engines. But it will be necessary to wait until the end of 2021/beginning of 2022 to discover this novelty.
Classic and comfortable design
The layout between the saloon and the cockpit is on the same level, creating a large open space thanks to the glazing. Inside, the layout is classic, with a fully equipped galley on the starboard side, a saloon for meals facing each other and a steering position at the bow, benefiting from good visibility.
A beautiful autonomy
The Aventura 10 Power comes standard with two inboard motors of 110 HP and up to 2X250 HP. But it is in a 2X195 HP version that it is the most commercialized. Its cruising speed is between 12 and 15 knots and its maximum speed is 22 knots.
But the programme sought is not speed, as it is at 7.5 knots that consumption is ideal. With only 3.2 L of fuel consumed per engine, the boat then achieves a range of more than 1000 miles.
