Highfield is the specialist in robust and sturdy RIBs with aluminium hulls. Its know-how is also recognized by major offshore racing organizations, such as the VENDEE GLOBE, the ROUTE DU RHUM or THE TRANSAT, which choose these boats for their excellent sea passage and their great safety. The same goes for the tenders, as several charter companies and the biggest shipyards (Lagoon, Outremer...) equip their Highfield catamarans with HIGHFIELDs.

Today the aluminium hull has proven its worth. Resistant, it will not jeopardize the watertightness of the boat in case of impact. In the event of sinking, it will be enough to affix a suction cup and to come and pull the aluminium. Highfield uses an anti-corrosion treated aluminium, soaked in various baths, baked in the oven, neutralised, not requiring an anode with powder paint. Another advantage is that the aluminium hull is easily recyclable and its manufacturing method is less polluting than that of polyester.

For 10 years, the manufacturer has been making progress, regularly upgrading its hulls. Not using hull moulds, as is the case for polyester boats, he can thus change the shape over the years to gain in performance, comfort and sea passage.

Two ranges of tenders - Ultralite and Classic - are in his catalogue, which can be used as small boats to reach his boat at anchor as well as main boats for larger models.
