One hull, three deck plans
The Smartliner brand was created in 2009 and developed in Taiwan with the launch of a range called "Classic" consisting of 6 models: Cuddy, Fisher and Passenger. The idea was to produce traditional and accessible boats for beginners in boating, sold mainly in Europe and Scandinavia, but also in Asia in Taiwan, South Korea, Thailand, Chile and Turkey.
The success of the brand has been growing and Smartliner is now arriving on the French market.
In 2019, with the opening of its new production unit in Poland exclusively intended for SMARTLINER Europe (the country producing 90% of all fishing boats for Europe), the brand is expanding its range with a new "Contemporary" range, the first model of which is a 22-foot hull. The latter comes in 3 different deck versions, while keeping the same cockpit: Open, Cuddy and Fisher. Thus, if the range offers 3 models, they are all designed from the same hull mould, guaranteeing an affordable price.
Center Console 22, a versatile and easy open shell
The latest model is the Center Console 22 with a futuristic and slender design. This boat is the reliable companion for a good time at sea, whether you are out for a walk, at anchor or fishing.
This 6.50 m open hull has a very wide cockpit and a simple and sleek design. The idea is to have an efficient boat, simple and easy to maintain, but also easy to steer for maximum pleasure at sea, without any headache.
A deep and well-protected cockpit
The very thin hull has a pronounced chine that runs the length of the hull and provides a comfortable passage at sea, while being protected from sea spray. The cockpit is deep and well protected by a high freeboard and completely secured by an access door on the port side. The latter is equipped with a double folding aft bench seat, under which a 45 L icebox can be stored. The pilot's bench seat, with its removable backrest, transforms the cockpit into a convivial saloon, with an additional table for lunch at anchor.
A large console to store
The central cockpit is very design.
Unlike most center consoles, the wide door of this console opens from the front, allowing easy access for one person to get in and out. This large interior space provides ample room for sunbathing equipment, personal belongings, and a chemical toilet.
Two USB sockets allow you to charge your smartphone, tablet or speaker.
Everywhere on board, there is plenty of storage space, especially in the cockpit with two large lockers on each side. Two additional storage compartments are also integrated at the bow and stern of the boat.
A modular forward cockpit
The front of the Center Console 22 offers a U-shaped saloon that can be transformed into a sunbathing area by adding cushions or a dining area by adding a table.
As the boat is already well equipped as standard, the list of options is reduced, including, front sundeck upholstery, T-top, bathing platforms, chemical toilet and electric windlass.
For added protection, the Center Console 22 is equipped with numerous handrails and a windshield for rider comfort.
Motorization and reasonable price
The open hull is fitted with an outboard with a maximum power of 150 HP, framed by bathing platforms for easy access on board. The recommended engine power is 115 to 130 HP, giving her a speed of about 25 knots.
