If the Dutch shipyard Feadship is rather known for its mega yacht constructions, it has just unveiled a project that will probably never see the light of day. The Freddy Gump is a 109m yacht that was born during a meeting of the Feadship design team from Studio de Voogt with brokers, with the aim of creating a ship for a fictitious client.
But beware, not just any customer. An owner who would have parts of opposite personality: the madness of the rock star Freddie Mercury and the "down-to-earth" side of Forest Gump, a fictional character.

This is how Project FG - Freddie Gump - was born, which allows you to have wild parties at night and rest peacefully during the day. This yacht "whose aura is that of a big star" has a huge open-air beach club to accommodate up to 300 people for crazy nights. There is also a space with a panoramic view for playing the piano, a ping-pong table hidden in the large foredeck that instantly unfolds protected in a large glass cylinder to prevent balls from getting lost, or a tennis court that unfolds widthways, also protected by glass walls.

The aft deck has a bar, a jacuzzi and large sun loungers for relaxing.
But the highlight of the show is a mysterious nightclub hidden in the heart of the boat, on the lower deck. Guests have no clue how to get there, the only clue being that it is located somewhere behind the engine hold and is entered through a hidden door.
Apart from these festive moments, the boat can take to the sea with 22 guests on board and has many windows - of orange tint - which recall the glasses that the singer used to wear on his nose.
