Neel 43, a "small" trimaran that has all the makings of a great trimaran

Neel trimarans presents the Neel 43, a 12.80 m trimaran which takes up the assets that made the success of its predecessors. To offer a "greener" boat, the shipyard has opted for recyclable and biosourced interior materials.

A Lombard plan that takes on the characteristics of its predecessors

With its 12.80 m length, the Neel 43 is designed for fast transoceanic rallies as well as for long-distance voyages and remains maneuverable with a small crew. Although it is the smallest of the range, this Lombard design, like the Neel 47, offers a large interior volume and can accommodate 8 to 10 passengers. It also offers a load capacity of 3 tons.

Like the other models, the Neel 43 is built in vacuum-molded composite sandwich with carbon fiber reinforcements. For a "green" aspect, the shipyard has opted for biosourced and recyclable materials for the interior fittings. Thus, the interior molding will be entirely made with recyclable PET foams and biosourced flax fibers. The resins and gelcoats have also evolved to limit styrene emissions.

Fast speed and touch of the bar

Like the other models, it has a "rockered" center hull for easy tacking and port maneuvering, and tightly stretched floats for stability and to prevent pitching. The Neel 43 has a single rudder for a better steering feel. The sail plan consists of a mainsail and a furling solent. The asymmetrical spinnaker will allow to sail comfortably into the wind.

An accessible and fully equipped helm station

All maneuvers are performed by the helmsman, who has a 360° view from the ergonomic helm station with triple seat and a sun awning fixed on a stainless steel tube. Access is from the side steps in the cockpit or from the deck. The roof is accessible from a step on the side, so you can easily access the mast, the boom and the sunbathing area. To move around safely, the cap is equipped with a handrail.

A large indoor and outdoor living space

In the image of Neel sailboats, we find the Cockloon® (indoor/outdoor living space) thanks to the wide opening between the cockpit and the saloon, but also the "Full Beam Cockpit®", an extra large cockpit with its many possibilities of differently oriented seating to fully enjoy all perspectives. An integrated plancha allows you to cook outside in complete conviviality? and safety?.

The large protected rear skirts facilitate access to the sea and the maneuvering of the dinghy. Finally, the lifting system of the dinghy is simple.

Inside, there is a panoramic view. The owner's cabin is on the same level on the starboard side, a characteristic of the brand, and a double cabin in the bow. Finally, the modular saloon can accommodate a total of 10 people. The bathroom is also on the same level, with a rinsing basin and a closet.

The saloon with its kitchen and chart table facing the sea is a living space that can be opened up. The double berth allows you to participate in the life of the boat without disturbing the rest of the crew. Finally, at the front of the floats, accessible from the deck, two single bunks increase the sleeping capacity.
