Video / Scanstrut, a holder that charges his phone

Scanstrut offers a universal phone holder for boats. A solution that keeps the phone in place and also recharges it while browsing.

More and more applications are making life easier for us in navigation. But some ask that the smartphone be turned on continuously, when it should not be in front of the driver's eyes. All this is energy-consuming and tires the battery. Power screen on, GPS... all consume energy. How do you keep your phone in sight and charging at the same time?

Scantrust offers a clever product. The Rokk Wireless Edge is a phone cradle. Screwed to the console or to the chart table (the 3 screws and the drilling template is provided), it holds the smartphone between 2 big claws. It's a simple solution, but it's proven and reliable. A thumb wheel on the base of the base is used to unlock and tilt the base at will. You can install your phone vertically or horizontally in no time at all.

But this small base goes further than just a stand. Indeed, it is equipped with an induction charging system, a wireless recharge now available on all the latest generation phones.

Charging is easy, the Scanstrut holder is connected to the on-board power supply (12 or 24 V) and the phone simply needs to be installed on it to recharge. For lovers of technology, this is a 5 W induction charger (slow charge). Attention for owners of phones with a very large display, it is possible that the charge may not be sufficient if the display is switched on at the same time. At least the charger prevents the phone from discharging.

Distributed in France by Tecmar, Scantrust support is available at 195 euros including VAT.
