Discovery / BMA X266, an open hull that adapts to your desires

After the launch of the BMA X 199 and X 222, the rigid hull builder continues to develop its open range from the top by presenting its flagship model, the BMA X 226. All you have to do is choose your pack to adapt your boat to your desires: lazing around, cruising, fishing, etc

To complete its Open range already composed of the X 199 and X 222, BMA - the Ribitaly Group's rigid hull brand - has just launched the BMA X 266 at the end of 2019. This 8.05 m boat follows the modern lines of the other models with a pinched bow and a high-performance stepped hull. The difference is the addition of a cabin in the central steering console, which offers a choice of a large storage area or a bathroom with sink, toilet and shower.

The BMA X 266 is available in several versions :

  • The Touring version (8?000 euros HT) with equipment dedicated to family cruising and lazing around (sunbathing area, front cockpit table, galley unit, fixed rear bench seat...)
  • The Basic version (3?500 euros) for a simple and stripped down boat suitable for sport fishing enthusiasts
  • The Sun&Fish version (7?500 euros HT) which offers a complete equipment for a boat that adapts to various nautical activities.

The bow sundeck is spacious as the console seat can be connected to the bow seat by adding a cushion. A table can also be set up to have a square facing each other. We appreciate the acidulous colours of the upholstery which reinforces the contemporary and sporty side of the boat.

The centre console is protected by a large windscreen. The cockpit is on the starboard side and the cabin entrance is on the port side. Two bolster seats for the pilot and co-pilot allow driving seated or standing.

At the rear is a saloon with three folding seats - one at the back and two on the sides - and a table that folds out according to the number of guests. A large capacity cooler with cushion is located behind the helm station seats.

While it is appreciated to have the possibility to store fresh food on board, in a square configuration, this hinders travel on board. You can then opt for a leaning-post with an integrated kitchen (sink unit, gas hob).

A large T-top (between 7?500 and 11?800 euros excl. VAT) can cover the cockpit to provide additional protection against the elements. A fully folding bimini will protect the cockpit.

Capable of carrying up to 10 passengers, the BMA X 266 can be powered by a single or twin engine, from 150 to 350 HP. The manufacturer announces a top speed of 48 knots with 350 HP Evinrude.

Price : From 27 500 euros HT without engine
