To continue sailing on his Sea Foam, Hugo makes a living as a skipper on charter boats. One to two weeks a month, he is called by the companies with which he collaborates to take care of a sailboat during the tenants' stay.
In this episode, he tells us about his duties on the boat. From morning to night, he explains what he has to do. While some functions are really pleasant, other tasks are much less so, such as cleaning the deck every day.
A skipper doesn't just navigate. He also takes care of all the technical follow-up of the boat and in particular the maintenance of the engines (level, draining). But in addition to that, with the hostess, he has to manage a large part of the hotel business (table dressage, running, garbage).
But by weighing the pros and cons, Hugo realizes that while the job of skipper is not always very rewarding, it allows him to stay in the Caribbean and enjoy magical places for sailing.
