Instructions for use
This wash is offered to sailboats and motorboats up to 12.49 meters in length, 3.90 meters in width and 2 meters in draught (height of the immersed part). A time slot, between 9am and 6pm, must be reserved: as for payment, this can be done on the internet or directly at the station, with Olivier. For boaters, this system offers real flexibility: to wash their hulls, boaters usually have to reserve a time slot about four months in advance and if they don't show up, they lose their turn. With Naviclean, you simply cancel your reservation online and take your turn again. When the time is right, the customer comes to the station. Olivier confirms his presence on the day's customer list, and off you go!

The machine in action!
Once the boat is well positioned in front of the rollers, the captain puts the engine in neutral or turns it off. Olivier pulls the boat with a winch positioned at the exit of the rollers to bring the boat on them. Olivier secures the boat on the machine. The customer can stay on the boat or get off. The washing is launched. Olivier decides how long the rollers will work: usually, one round trip is enough, but he can opt for more. The whole operation lasts about 30 minutes.

Washing the bridge
During this half hour, the customer, for 10 euros, can use a high pressure jet to clean the deck of his boat for ten minutes. Olivier also offers a service provided by himself, washing the deck. This is done outside the washing time with the rollers, because Olivier has to stay in front of his control panel during the whole automatic washing process to check that everything is going well. He charges 5 euros per meter for the deck washing if it is a light washing/rinsing and 8 euros per meter for the deep washing (scouring). This service does not require the presence of the customer, who can go about his business at his leisure.

Side services
Also a diver, Olivier offers his clients to visually inspect the hull, to remove clusters of mussels that may have remained stuck to the hull, to change the anti-electrolysis anodes, etc. Olivier has other ideas, but, for the time being, prefers to focus on his core business and his first services. For him, the evolution of mentalities in the boating world is inevitable: boaters will become aware that careening with rollers is much easier to do, and infinitely more ecological than the installation of antifouling. And this can only boost the washing with rollers, he is delighted.

How much does it cost?
The rates depend on the length of the boat and the number of washes purchased at the same time: from 20 euros to 104 euros per wash. As far as payment is concerned, Olivier has opted for the digital customer account system: it is charged with an amount, then debited at each passage on the rollers. It can be added to via the Internet or directly at the station, via Olivier who is always present, as there is no question of self-service. Of course, a decreasing price is proposed according to the number of washes loaded. Selling several washes at a time allows Olivier to build customer loyalty and cash flow. This also encourages customers to abandon the application of antifouling, replaced by a regular wash during the season.
