See you in Normandy!
Since her launch in 2014 in Rochefort, the frigate of liberty has alternated between periods of welcoming visitors and themed sailings. After a first American tour and then a Mediterranean tour, it is now the Normandy coasts that are getting ready to welcome the Hermione.
From May to June 2019, the Hermione will therefore sail through new cities with new stops: Cherbourg, Dieppe, Ouistreham, Saint-Nazaire, Nantes, Rives-en-Seine and Rouen. She will also participate in the Armada of Rouen on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the D-Day landings.
A nautical ballet on the Loire
From May 23 to 27, 2019 will take place the second edition of the nautical and cultural event Débord de Loire. On Saturday, May 25, all kinds of âeuro sailing ships large ships, old rigs, contemporary and innovative boats, small leisure and sports units, work boats or âeuro racing yachts will parade alongside the Hermione for a nautical ballet.

Commemoration of the 75th anniversary of D-Day
This new voyage is part of the commemoration of the 75th anniversary of the landing of Allied troops on the beaches of Normandy, which marked the beginning of the Liberation of France. The Hermione will once again be at the heart of this historic link between France and the United States.
And as a highlight of her journey, she will be present at the Rouen Armada (formerly the Armada de la Liberté) created in 1989 on the occasion of the 45th anniversary of the D-Day landings with a staggered arrival of the frigate on June 7 at 9 pm in Rouen.
Visits on land
As on every voyage, it will be possible to board the frigate and participate in the tours organized by the ship's masters. The âeuros ticketing operated by the âeuros stopover cities will open as early as the first quarter of 2019.
