The Fliteboard eFoil is a surfboard with an electric hydrofoil that allows you to fly over water at a maximum speed of 40 km/h. Unlike other boards that are beginning to spread along our coastlines, the Fliteboard does not need waves or wind to take off. Use in waves is not recommended, so calm water bodies or non-aggressive seas should be preferred. With no emissions, no noise and no wake, this board is fast and quiet.
Indeed, the board is equipped with an electric motor powered by a battery that allows a range of about 25 km. The removable battery called "Flite Cell" is available in two sizes - 30 and 42 AH - and can be charged via a special charger on a standard wall socket. It takes between 2 and 3 hours and 30 minutes to load.
The board is available in 3 versions: Fliteboard, Fliteboard Pro and Fliteboard Air and can be equipped with two types of foils: Cruiser or Flyer wing. You can customize your board as you wish, with a total of 56 different combinations!
The Cruiser version allows you to support yourself more quickly and ensures stability even at low speeds. It is particularly suitable for beginners. The Flyer version offers fewer drag and requires a higher speed to get out of the water, just as it offers a higher maximum speed and better reactivity. The speed with the Cruiser foil will be 34 km/h compared to 40 km/h for the Flyer version.
Fliteboard and Fliteboard PRO boards are manufactured in PVC and carbon sandwich construction. The top of the board is made of wood and the bottom is made of carbon. The foils are also made of carbon fibre.
The board is controlled via a "Flite Controller" remote control that indicates the remaining range and battery power to allow you to manage your distance and practice (slow down or accelerate). The specially configured battery management system will reduce the available power when the battery is almost empty.
The controller is completely waterproof and includes a magnetic accelerator for very precise control. There are several driving modes to choose from to facilitate learning or to provide precision control for experienced pilots.
