Breakfast à la plancha ENO © Bateaux.com

What better way to gain strength before sailing than a hearty breakfast? An english breakfast with eggs, bacon and toast, which we will prepare at the plancha ENO. A quick way to prepare everything when there are a lot of people on board and to enjoy a beautiful sunny morning to cook in the cockpit.

Before leaving for a long sail and enjoy the morning heat, we will prepare a hearty breakfast typically English. Eggs - which we chose fried and scrambled - bacon, toast and cheese. Enough to fill our stomachs for our six hours of sailing! And instead of locking ourselves in the square for our preparation, we opted for ENO plancha cooking, installed on the back balcony of our boat.

On your plancha, you can cook the same ingredients as on your stove so don't deprive yourself: pancakes, pancakes, sausages, caramelized fruits... And just like indoors, you can use it as a stove to cook in your adapted pots and pans, as are those of the Cristel brand.

The ingredients of our breakfast

- Eggs

- Fresh cream

- Curry

- Persillade

- Salt and pepper

- Bacon

- Cheese

- Butter (optional, the plancha does not need to be greased before cooking)

- Crumb bread

The recipe in stages

1 - We will start by preparing our scrambled eggs. Break your eggs in a pan

2 - Add a spoonful of fresh cream

3 - Add salt and pepper

4 - Season your mixture with a little curry and parsley. You can choose the spices you want, also know that the brouillade goes very well with mushroom powder.

5 - Whisk to obtain a homogeneous mixture.

6 - Place your pan on your hot griddle and mix until the mixture becomes creamy and thick. Reserve!

7 - Break your fried eggs directly on your plancha. Be sure to lower the temperature of your cast iron plate to avoid burning your eggs.

8 - Add your bacon slices

9 - When it is cooked, set aside and brown your slices of sandwich bread to make toasts.

10 - Arrange it on a plate and enjoy!
