Kevin Peponnet and Jérémie Mion: France World Champion in 470!

Two Frenchmen have just won the gold medal at the 470 World Championship. The Basque Kevin Peponnet and the Le Havre Jérémie Mion now have the Tokyo 2020 Olympics in their sights.

Helmsman Kevin Peponnet (27) and his team-mate Jérémie Mion have just won the gold medal at the 470 World Championship held in Aarhus, Denmark. A victory won in the last set against their Japanese rivals.

This Basque athlete who started sailing with the Basque Yacht Club in Saint-Jean-de-Luz at the age of 6, is now training in La Rochelle (he is licensed with the Société des Régates Rochelaises, SRR).
