In this new episode of Pushed by the Wind Sarah and Aurélien meet again in Vannes, on December 29, 2016 by a polar cold. On the program of this first part of video workshops to improve the comfort on board: installation of a water heater to have hot water or cutting a new foam for the mattress (which finally proved uncomfortable and was replaced by a custom foam purchased at the dealer)..
A comfort that was necessary to welcome little Nael, born on January 12, 2017 and back on Maloya (the family sailboat) four days after his birth, still not very cold!
On board, life is organized for three... We plan the rope commands by cuddling baby, we take courses on navigation software with the pontoon neighbors..
Thursday 16th February, the time has come for Nael to make her first navigation between Vannes and La Trinité-sur-Mer, in foggy weather. Life follows its course at the port of La Trinité-sur-Mer and baby takes the rhythm of sea outings, while Sarah resumes paddles sessions between the naves.
The 1 er april, our three adventurers take the direction of Etel, their home port, with their little Nael of almost 3 months. Sarah and Aurélien have to deal with seasickness, meal preparation, but especially the presence of a newborn (breastfeeding, diapers...).
