The Paris Boat Show will open its doors on December 3, 2016 for 9 days during which nearly 800 exhibitors will be present. Hall 1 will welcome yachts for all tastes: houseboats, racing yachts, dayboats... Here are the novelties of the year to be discovered in Paris.

Many new products will be presented at the Nautic of Paris Among them, 6 boats will be presented for the first time in France. The other models were discovered at the Cannes and La Rochelle autumn boat shows and will make their first appearance in Paris.

Le Tofinou 10

The Latitude 46 shipyard will present the Tofinou 10 at the Nautic, a 9.90 m sailboat designed for coastal family cruising. Like the rest of the range, it retains elegant lines and a high-performance hull, but gains a new hull with high freeboards and a more prominent deckhouse. Below deck, there is an aft cabin and a toilet, as well as a small kitchen, a saloon and a Breton bed. It is offered in standard keelboat version, but it is available in lifting keel version.

The Saffier SE 26 and 33 feet

The Saffier SE 26 is a modern daysailer, with harmonious lines and a modern hull. It can be sailed single-handed and can sleep 4 people: it has a double berth in the bow and two side berths. A toilet, stove, refrigerator and sink can be installed as options.

Saffier SE 26

The Saffier SE 33 was born in 2014 in the Dutch shipyard Saffier Yachts. This easy to sail daysailer can reach speeds in excess of 17 knots. Terribly elegant, she has a powerful rig, a fast hull, a modern T-bulb keel... Built in vacuum infusion, it remains a light, fast and comfortable boat and can be sailed by one person. The boat is equipped with a deckhouse and the interior cabin offers sleeping for 4 people, has a stove, a sink with running water, a refrigerator and cupboards.

The Sense 51

The Sense 51 is an evolution of the 50 and presents itself as an atypical boat among production sailboats. The space under the cockpit usually reserved for cabins on cruising yachts is here occupied by lockers. Thus the cockpit remains very low on the water which refines the silhouette of the boat. The three cabins are all forward of the saloon, with a large owner's suite in the forepeak. The rear of the cockpit has been reworked to integrate a hydraulically-closable bathing platform that secures the cockpit when closed

The Elan GT 5

The Gran Turismo 5 is a fast cruising yacht that aims to combine performance, easy sailing and elegance. Its hull is an evolution of the E5 and S5, and will be longer to support more weight in the accommodations. The deck plan of this boat has been designed to be operated with a reduced crew. On the GT5, the galley is positioned along the mast bulkhead, across the entire width of the boat. This layout is already familiar from the Dufours and offers the advantage of opening up a large saloon at the foot of the companionway.

The VX Evo

The VX Evo is a new concept among the big dinghies that is intended as a simple, yet technical racing boat optimized for performance, handling and ergonomics upwind and downwind.

The following models have already been featured at the Fall shows, but are among the must-haves for the 2016/2017 season.

The Maxus 24 Evo QR

This model was presented in La Rochelle and will be presented in Paris in its lifting keel version (but without keel). As a reminder, it had already been presented at Nautic 2015. The Maxus 24 Evo is a dinghy offered with different appendage versions (full dinghy version, a twin keel version, a keelboat version and now a lifting keel version) The lifting keel version is aimed at those who like high-performance cruisers without sacrificing the possibility of transporting the boat or beaching it (with crutches).

Easy To Fly

The Bateaux.com team took advantage of the La Rochelle boat show to test the Easy to Fly, a flying catamaran. Developed within the Absolute Dreamer team, of the racer Jean-Pierre Dick This new 8.10 m hydrofoil multihull aims to offer a stable and easy-to-access platform so that catamaran flying is no longer reserved for professional sailors

Astus 16.5

This model had been presented in December 2015, at the Nautic. The Astus 16.5 is a small sailboat designed as a true sports machine, a sort of small Diam 24. Without denying its origins - the Astus 16.5 retains folding telescopic arms - this small trimaran will be light to be easily handled on a beach or a slipway. A centerboard on the central hull and a single rudder will ensure good performance.

Happy Cat Evo

The Happy Cat Evo is an inflatable catamaran made in Austria and now imported in France by the company Big Toys On Board. This 4.65 m catamaran has two inflatable floats. All the pieces of the puzzle are stored in 4 bags (75 kg in total). The trampoline is held by aluminum beams that ensure the rigidity of the boat. This catamaran is equipped with a single centerboard and a single rudder. For the raid, an outboard motor can be adapted.

The Seascape 24

The Seascape 24 was presented for the first time at the Grand Pavois . This year, a little newcomer completes the range: the Seascape 24. It is more the big brother of the 18 than a little brother of the 27. This boat will be a good one-design or HN racer. It will also be pleasant to cruise for coastal programs with the family. It really plays the versatility card. With its 7.30 m, the Seascape is the same size as the Surprise. With its large cockpit and voluminous fittings, this modern design (bilge, straight planking, etc.) could well be seen as a worthy successor to this series, which does not want to die out.

The RM 970

We discovered the RM 970 on the pontoons of La Rochelle. Still designed by Marc Lombard, this new RM has a new flatter hull with more volume at the front and a forefoot that is clearly visible on this Grand Pavois pontoon. The deckhouse, distinctive sign of the range, ends at the front with a large front porthole. This one gains two "cat ears" which gives to this RM a small playful air.

The Code #

The Code # has the architectural characteristics of the shipyard, namely the dog house, the teak deck or the rear vault... Sober and elegant, it has a modern hull with taut lines and embodies the French chic.
