Attitude, the superyacht inspired by lobster fishing boats

Attitude, Rossinavi superyacht concept

At the Fort Lauderdale Boat Show (Nov. 3-7, 2016), the Italian superyacht manufacturer Rossinavi unveiled the Attitude concept, a 53m superyacht inspired by the American style.

At the Fort Lauderdale Boat Show (USA), which took place from 3 to 7 November 2016, the Italian shipyard Rossinavi, specialised in the construction of superyachts, presented a new yacht concept inspired by the American style. Azimut Yachts - also Italian - presented the Verve 40 a typical American walk-around. A new fashion at Italian shipyards?

The concept Attitude is a 53 m long yacht, inspired by the lobster boat, a typical Maine lobster fishing boat that features a semi-displacement hull with a liston that runs from the stern to the raised bow. The upper part of the hull at the bow is flared and higher than at the stern, while the freeboards decrease in height towards the stern to be able to recover the traps.

This reinterpretation of the lobster boats incorporates all the elements of modernity with efficient performance technology and state-of-the-art features

Attitude was designed with architect and designer Carlo Colombo and design studio A ++. The yacht keeps in leitmotiv the performance and has an adequate architecture. Thus, the yacht has an efficient and fast hull shape. With its width of 9 m and internal volume of less than 500 GT, Attitude can reach an impressive speed of 20 knots with two MTU 2000 M96L engines.

The interior style was designed by the designer Colombo as a luxury villa, as he explains "The views are unobstructed over the surroundings and are not just small windows. The layout has been designed to create spacious and functional areas for a true sense of space and comfort."
