The Bénéteau Sense 57 is the largest of the range. It replaces the Sense 55. This sailboat is intended for cruising with a reduced crew (often a couple) which can accommodate friends. Day trips, small coastal cruises where comfort is more important than the number of berths.
To limit the difference in floor height between the cockpit and the saloon, and to avoid a descent with many steps, the Sense 57 (like the rest of the range), does not have a rear cabin. The cockpit floor is lower than on other models and only 3 steps are required to access the interior
The cockpit is also very well equipped with the seats of the 2 steering wheels that hide a kitchen area. To port is a sink and to starboard a plancha. Each of these spaces being accessible by placing on the skirt. Note the large rigid bimini that protects the entire cockpit. The canvas part in the middle opens or closes.
The first pictures of the boat in navigation were taken by the sea photographer Gilles Martin-Raget in the Iroise Sea (Brittany) under a bright sun of this beautiful end of summer.
