Mattco, and the teak from my boat is all beautiful

To protect its teak, Matt Chem launches a new product in the purest style of "Sealer" very popular with Americans. Mattco nourishes and protects teak.

Matt Chem is releasing a new product to maintain teak. It is Mattco, an oily and greasy product that impregnates and saturates the wood. It is solvent-based and lasts for a long time while protecting the wood. Hydrophobic (water repellent) and oleophobic (oil repellent), it prevents stains from becoming embedded.

This product is applied in 2 coats, wet on wet (the second coat is applied when the first is not yet dry). It is applied with a brush in the direction of the wood fibres. The teak must be clean before this operation. To clean your teak and restore its original color, you can use the products Matt Chem Sun Teck (cleaner) and Bright Teck (Reviver).

The Mattco will lightly color the teak giving it an amber, slightly iridescent look. The wood will be nourished (no need to add oil afterwards). Unlike stains, Mattco does not flake and will protect for at least one year.
