Gevera G35, the tender of the future?

Gevera Boats, a new Croatian shipyard, has just unveiled its first tender concept, the Gevera GC35. A futuristic boat, with modern and aggressive lines inspired by the codes of luxury cars.

Gevera Boats is a new company of Croatian origin that seeks to establish itself in the design and construction of luxury motor yachts. In order to meet the demands of the most demanding owners, Ivan FilipoviÄ and Dujo MariÄ, the two co-founders âeuros graduated respectively in architecture and management âeuros have imagined a first luxurious and original concept.

The Gevera G35 is a 35-foot (10.54 m) tender constructed of aluminum, carbon and stainless steel, capable of reaching a maximum speed of 45 knots (83 km/h). Its futuristic design distinguishes itself from existing models with its carbon fiber superstructure (for a total weight of 4,300 kg), its forward curved hull, and its aluminum V-shaped bow that protrudes from the hull.

Its design is also reminiscent of a car, with its carbon hard-top or its huge exhaust tips, slid on each side of the hull. A futuristic central console equipped with a steering wheel (also reminiscent of a racing car) is protected by a kind of screen (or windscreen?).

The console is entirely framed by bench seating, inlaid in the boat's rounded hull. Aft, a sundeck covers part of the raised aft deck.

The Gevera GC35 is equipped with a Cummins QSB6.7 engine with a range of 480-550 horsepower, the maximum power for a diesel sterndrive coupled with a Konrad 680 Stern Drive that provides efficient load capacities up to 7.7 tons and allows for speeds up to 40 knots.
