Trawler of the year 2016, presentation of the nominated boats

This year, not five, but four boats are nominated in the trawler category. Discover them in pictures and make your choice.

1. Boarncruiser Elegance 1200 Sedan

The 1200 Sedan is a particularly elegant steel yacht. A lot of design work has been done to achieve subtle lines. Unlike the brand's other ranges, here the bow is straight. A large glass windscreen surrounds the entire cabin, bringing more light and ventilation into the boat, as does the sunroof over the cockpit. Despite its modern design, the brand's DNA is still evident: steel construction for a solid, high-quality boat.

The aft cockpit is fully enclosed for greater safety on board. There is a large bench seat on the aft deck. Sliding doors open to the wheelhouse, a small galley to starboard and storage to port. Behind the galley is a saloon and on the port side is the steering position.

Below deck, at the front, is the master cabin, a bathroom with shower and separate toilet, and a mid-cabin.

2. Linssen Grand Sturdy 530

The Grand Sturdy 530 is a trawler with an all-steel hull and superstructure, available in two versions: with Wheelhouse or the Linssen-Variotop, a fully automated canopy. The Wheelhouse version is equipped with an electrically operated sunroof and a longtop that protects the cockpit. The wheelhouse doors open directly onto the cockpit to create a large living space. The teak brings elegance and comfort to the boat.

Inside, there are two distinct living spaces: the living room and the kitchen with the dining area. Wooden materials and colors give a warm and cozy feel to the wheelhouse. There are two double cabins, forward and aft, and a median cabin with two single beds. Two bathrooms complete the whole.

The 460 Grand Sedan is a trawler from the Australian brand Integrity. Made in China, this semi-custom was designed based on feedback from Integrity boat owners. It is more refined and powerful than the other boats in the range.

In the wheelhouse, there is a large galley, with a large sofa on the starboard side, and the steering position at the front, on the same side. The access to the cabins is on the starboard side. There are two cabins with shower room.

4. Super Lauwersmeer Evolve OC (Open Cockpit)

The Evolve OC is the new calling card of the shipyard. It takes the 45-year-old shipyard's DNA, but brings a bit of modernity. The cockpit is fully enclosed and spacious enough to accommodate a bench seat and a table. Wooden French windows close off the wheelhouse, but a sunroof allows you to enjoy the sun while steering the boat. The railings are high for greater safety. A large windshield brings light into the wheelhouse.

Inside, the furniture is contemporary. There is a large salon with a small kitchen at the front of the boat, next to the cockpit. At the front is the main cabin with a shower room. Behind, there is a cabin with two single beds.
